Fast Automatic Coil Selection for Radial Stack-Of-Stars GRE Imaging

In radial stack-of-stars GRE imaging, distortions of the magnetic B0 field and gradient fields distant from the isocenter can cause significant streaking artifacts. The image quality can be severely degraded by coils that contribute mostly artifacts but little image information.
