The Effects of Tissue Iron and Temperature on R2* (=1/T2*) and δR2* Contrasts

The contribution of tissue iron and the effect of temperature have been investigated for R2* (= 1/T2*) and ΔR2* contrasts. The results suggest that iron has large contribution on R2* but not on ΔR2* whereas temperature has significant effects on both contrasts
