In this work a retrospectively triggered method for the quantification of perfusion and regional blood volume (RBV) in murine myocardium is demonstrated. Perfusion and RBV maps can be reconstructed on any desired position in the heart cycle. Furthermore the calculation of RBV maps requires a voxel by voxel comparison of a pre and post contrast agent T1 map. A good match for both map can be guaranteed due to the ability to reconstruct T1 maps of any desired position in the heart cycle.
