Differential Diffusivity in Parkinsonism

Parkinsons Disease presents difficulty in coordinated movements due to loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra. We observed a significant loss in the whole brain fibers in PD subjects as compared to in controls. We observed significantly low FA values in the SMA and thalamus.
