Effect of Formalin Fixation on Biexponential Modeling of T1 and T2 Decay in Prostate Tissue

Prostate tissue show bi-exponential decay in both T2 and diffusion in vivo. In this pilot study we investigated whether T2 and T1 decay characteristics are changed after prostatectomy and formalin fixation.
