Alzheimers disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia and is highly heritable. In the present study, we investigate the FA change in nondemented subjects with AD risk gene of C allele in clusterin (CLU). We found nondemented healthy carriers of the CLU gene risk variant showed both increased and decreased FA in risk CC genotype group which may relate with some abnormal function and increase vulnerability to developing AD later in life.
