Exercise-induced muscle activity is essential in sports medicine and rehabilitation medicine. MRI can evaluate muscle activity; transverse relaxation time (T2) of the exercised muscle is increased compared to that of rested muscle. Therefore, evaluation of muscle activity using T2weighted MRI will facilitate identification the most effective exercises for strengthening the each muscle. In order to reduce the acquisition time of muscle T2 calculating, the aim of his study was to assess the pulse sequences for T2 measurement in 3.0T by comparing it with multiple spin echo (MSE). In particular, this study was verified about SE-EPI and DESS.
