Quantitative T2 mapping provides an absolute measure of transverse relaxation that is independent of other confounding factors; however, heterogeneous transmit fields and shaped RF pulses preclude the use a mono- or multi-exponential fit to measure T2. We present a freely available toolbox for robust quantitative T2 mapping with stimulated echo compensation based on recently published work. The toolbox enables accurate mono- or multi-component analysis despite heterogeneous transmit fields and slice-selective refocusing; the toolbox can be obtained from http://mrel.usc.edu/.
